In Loving Memory, Larry (Farmboy)

We have all lost a friend. In Larry's last post, he asked his friends to love one another and lift each other up at every opportunity we are given. He asked that we mend broken fences with loved ones, to reach out first, "because of love we should say we are sorry." A man so full of integrity, he thought not of himself, but others.

Larry, you made a difference not just in my life, but in many others too, and I'm thankful for our friendship. I know many of you knew Larry, and I can only hope that you take what he said in the end and make it a part of your life. We know it's what he would want.

As Larry ended every post he wrote: Larry, I look forward to talking to you very soon...

We met upon a computer screen, words and thoughts combining, to share both life's joys and life's trials.
Two people that became friends, even though separated by endless miles.

A short time that felt much longer, getting to know the person we kept hidden.
Stories unfolded, week after week, friends waiting to see what was written.
To know the real you, both the good and the bad, was a gift I'm thankful to have been given.

Now with you gone, please know that I'm grateful, to have known you and loved you at the end.
A very special man, both strong and proud, has been welcomed home, to heaven.

I will miss you, friend.

Love, Green Eyes
